Two NDA cadets swept away
Pune, Aug 7 (UNI) Two cadets of the National Defence Academy (NDA) wore swept away while undergoing a navigation and map-reading training in the Khadakwasla lake today , as the incessant rains lashed the district for the last four days.
A team of four cadets had gone for navigation training at Donge village near the Khadakwasla dam. There, they met with a freak accident, in which the two cadets were thrown into the swollen Khadakwasla lake and swept away due to the high current in the water, according to the Haveli police.
Inspector S Patil who is invetigating the incident, said the actual nature of the accident is yet to be ascertained . The other two cadets have been rescued UNI DWN SP SS LL RN2331
