Tenth Guru's Sanad verified

Harda, MP, Aug 7 (UNI) A 'sanad (document)' -- written by Tenth Sikh Guru Gobind Singh -- discovered at Handiya tehsil in Harda district of Madhya Pradesh has been verified by the Archaeology department.

Madhya Pradesh State Minorities Commission member P S Anand said a detailed report about religious and historical importance of the village would be presented to the state government.

Besides, he would write to the government for collection of the document.

The Commission will demand the state government for declaring Handiya (Harda), Hoshangabad, Burhanpur, Omkareshwar (Khandwa) and Betma (Indore) as religious towns.
