Satyam to partner with Austin's Planview

Hyderabad, Aug 7: Satyam Computer Services Ltd., the leading global consulting and Information Technology Services company, today announced that it had formed an alliance with Austin, Planview, an enterprise portfolio management software organization.

The alliance would enhance Satyam's ability to deliver best-in-class enterprise portfolio management, IT governance, and project management processes to companies around the world, the company said.

The collaboration would also enable Planview's clients to receive optimal performance from its products, which were designed to align business and IT objectives; prioritise projects; assess the return on numerous investments and foster widespread adoption of standardised, integrated processes.

On a typical partnership engagement, highly trained Satyam professionals would help Planview customers implement the software company's cutting-edge technology and processes. At the same time, Planview would bring its solutions to Satyam's global customer base in industries such as energy, entertainment and press, financial services, healthcare, high technology, insurance, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications and utilities, the release said.
