Rajendra Prasad new Avadi Airforce Commander

Chennai, Aug 7 (UNI) Air Commodore Gudipudi Rajendra Prasad today took over the command of Airforce, Avadi.

The Air officer took charge from Air commodore Ashok Kumar at an impressive handing/taking over ceremonial parade held at the station parade ground, a defence release here said.

The Air officer was commissioned in the administration branch of Indian Airforce in December 1972. An alumnus of Defence Services Staff College, Commodore Prasad had held various important portfolios in his service, the release added.
