Palestinian killed in West Bank shooting

JERUSALEM, Aug 7 (Reuters) A Palestinian man was shot dead today while driving with his son in the occupied West Bank, Palestinian security sources and medics said.

An unidentified gunman opened fire on their car, killing the 47-year-old man and wounding his 17-year-old son, near the West Bank city of Nablus.

Witnesses said the gunman was in a car with yellow Israeli plates. An Israeli army spokeswoman said she was not aware of the incident.
