No proposal to ban Iron ore export

New Delhi, Aug 7: The Government today ruled out any proposal to completely ban the export of iron ore in view of its sufficient reserves in the country.

The prices of iron ore and steel are deregulated and governed by market forces. Hence, there is no proposal to introduce any price control mechanism, said Steel Minister Ram Vilas Paswan in a written reply to the Lok Sabha.
