Nine dacoits arrested

Krishnagar, Aug 7 (UNI) Police arrested nine dacoits along with weapons at Bahirgachi Ambagan under Dhantala police station late last night.

Officer-incharge Sougata Roy said the miscreants will be produced before the Ranaghat sub-divisional court today.

Mr Roy said that acting on a tip-off, police arrested the miscreants along with two pipe guns, four cartridges, six daggers and a motor-cycle.
