Muslims to demonstrate against Pak-sponsored terrorism

New Delhi, Aug 7 (UNI) Prominent Muslims, including those from various Madarasas in the city, will demonstrate against Pakistan-sponsored terrorism in India.

The protest rally would be held after Friday prayers at Kabeer Nagar in East Delhi on August 11, a statement of Qalam Parwar, an organisation of writers, journalists and poets, and Samjhauta Educational and Welfare Society said.

Qalam Parwar President Saleem Sheerazi and Samjhauta President Mohd Shareef Khan have appealed to Muslims in the capital to participate in the rally.

Condemning the recent Mumbai serial blasts, they asked rulers in Pakistan to reign in the terrorist organisation immediately so that the peace process could go on and was not adversely affected.
