Motor cycle lifters nabbed

Ranchi, Aug 7 (UNI) Police arrested two people, part of a gang of motor cycle lifters, from Namkum police station area here last night.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) R K Mallick today said acting on a tip-off, police arrested Vinod Kachap and Rajesh Machua and efforts were on to nab the remaining 13 members of the gang.

The culprits also admitted to murdering an LIC agent under Khunti police station area last month, the SSP said.

Police also recovered three motorcycles, a rifle, two countrymade pistols and two cartridges from them.
