More in B'lore for selecting probables for ICC Champion Trophy

Bangalore, Aug 7 (UNI) BCCI Selection Committee Chairman Kiran More arrived here today to take part in the selection of probables for the ICC Champions Trophy to be held in October-November.

The selection of probables would be done on August nine and the other members of the Selection Committee--Bhupinder Singh (North), Ranjib Biswal (East), Sanjay Jagdale (Central) and V B Chandrasekhar (South)--were expected to arrive on that day.

On his arrival, More drove down to the National Cricket Academy and observed the performance of Team India players at the Cricket Skill Camp, which began here today. The four-day camp was being held to prepare the team for the tri-series to be held in Sri Lanka from August 14 with South Africa being the third team.

Speculations were rife that former Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly was likely to make a comeback for the ICC Champions Trophy.
