India to source minerals from Ivory Coast

New Delhi, Aug 7 (UNI) The West African nation of Ivory Coast today sought from India, cooperation in mining in its mineral rich region abundant resources like bauxite, limestone, iron ore, manganese, nickel, gold and diamond.

Ivory Coast's Mines Minister Leon Immanuel and Minister of State for Mines T. Subbarami Reddy held discussions regarding the sector here, and stressed on exchange of cooperation in the fields of exploration, extraction, survey and mining technology.

The West African country is rich in resources like bauxite, limestone, iron-ore, manganese, nickel, gold and diamond.
