Impetus declares expansion plan
Indore, Aug 7: Impetus Technologies, pioneer of outsourced product development and engineering services, today announced its strategy and expansion plans within and outside Indore.
Speaking to the media, company CEO Praveen Kankariya said Impetus expected a 70-80 percent increase in topline this fiscal.
Its facility in Hyderabad has been raised to 50-engineer capacity and has grown its Noida facility to two centres with a potential to house 500 software engineers.
In Indore, the company is exploring plans to set up a 2500 -engineer state-of-the-art facility in the first phase of construction of its own campus. A final decision on this is likely soon. Impetus is also in talks with the government with regard to acquiring a significant amount of space in the proposed IT park coming up in Indore, he added.
The company has been on an aggressive recruitment drive and has doubled its headcount over the past year to exceed 700 employees. Continuing on this growth curve, Impetus is all set to take the employee count to over 1000 by this year end.
Mr Kankariya said over the past year the company has over a dozen new client wins in emerging domains such as mobile gaming , Internet Advertising, digital media, quality consulting and financial data products.
