Fire mishap at private power plant in TN

Tuticorin, Aug 7 : Firewood worth Rs five crore was destroyed in a major fire at a private power generation plant at Eppothumventran Village, near here, last night.

Police sources said fire engines from different parts of the district were rushed to the spot.

According to last received reports, they were still trying to put out the fire. However, no one was injured.

The cause of the fire was not known immediately.
