ECGC signs MoU with NSIC

Mumbai, Aug 7 (UNI) Export Credit Guarantee Corporation of India (ECGC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) for marketing export credit insurance products through its service network.

The agreement was signed by ECGC CMD Dr Christy Fernandez and NSIC CMD H P Kumar, an ECGC release said.

Dr Fernandez urged the Corporation to provide more proactive support to the small and medium enterprises so that the ambitious target of achieving 1.5 per cent of world exports by 2008-09 is realised, the release added.
