Dharna held demanding separate Mithilanchal state in Bihar

New Delhi, Aug 7 (UNI) Hundreds of people sat on a dharna here demanding a separate Mithilanchal state for the all-round development of the Mithila region of Bihar.

The dharna was held under the aegis of Akhil Bhartiya Mithila Rajya Sangharsh Samiti and Vidyapati Sewa Sansthan.

The organisations urged the people of Purvanchal, whose population in Delhi is about 4 million, to work together and participate in the political process of the national capital.
