Court adjourns Birla-Lodha case

Kolkata, Aug 7 (UNI) A city court presided by 12th metropolitan magistrate in Kolkata today adjourned the hearing of the criminal complaint filed by B K Birla-controlled Rameshwara Jute Mills Ltd against R S Lodha till September 9, 2006.

The City Sessions Court had earlier stayed the proceedings in respect of the criminal complaint by its order dated August 1, 2006.

The complaint relates to the alleged misappropriation of two computers, two printers, a revolving chair, one pedestal fan, two steel racks and the alleged fabrication of cheques aggregating to Rs 9.000.

The magistrate had issued summons to Mr Lodha and the other accused persons by its order dated July 4, 2006.
