CM directs officials to send reports on GO 610

Hyderabad, Aug 7 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today directed heads of various departments to submit reports about the implementation of GO 610 which stipulated repatriation of employees of other regions from Telangana.

In a review meeting held on the implementation of the GO, as directed by the High Court, Dr Reddy was believed to have expressed his displeasure at the pace of the implementation, according to sources.

In the meeting attended by the Cabinet sub-Committee members and heads of different departments, Dr Reddy was reported to have expressed his displeasure that all departments except the police, had not taken the High Court direction seriously.

He has directed all department heads to submit the reports on the implementation of the GO before the monsoon session of the Assembly commencing on August 17.

He has also reportedly directed the officials to brief the ministers as questions were likely to be raised in the ensuing Assembly session on the implementation of the GO.
