Chhattisgarh Exp mishap

Betul, MP, Aug 7 (UNI) Passengers of the Amritsar-Bilaspur Chhattisgarh Express had a providential escape after its engine collided with a boulder that had fallen on the track due to heavy rains.

The late last night's mishap, which occurred near Maranchhari and Dharakho in the Central Railway's Nagpur division, delayed the Dakshin Express, GT Express and Gorakhpur Express.

Railway sources said the Chhattisgarh Express was late by 11 hours and left for Nagpur at 0900 hrs today.
