Broad daylight robbery in Patna

Patna, Aug 7 (UNI) Armed criminals today robbed Rs 50 lakhs in broad daylight from the employees of a private bank who were on way to deposit the cash in a nationalised bank branch at Gandhinagar under Agam Kuan police station here.

Senior Superintendent of Police Kundan Krishnan said the criminals intercepted the employees of the private bank, robbed the cash, opened fire in the air and triggered a bomb blast to scare away the onlookers.

An employee sustained minor injuries as he tried to resist.

Raids were on to nab the criminals and recover the cash from them,he added.
