BJP condoles Suraj Bhan's death

New Delhi, Aug 7 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party has expressed deep sorrow at the demise of Chairman of National Commission of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes, Suraj Bhan who died at All India Institute of Medical Sciences here following multiple organ failure yesterday.

BJP President Rajnath Singh termed the senior party leader as a true nationalist, who served in various important positions such as Governor of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Himachal Pradesh, and also Lok Sabha Deputy Speaker.

Dr Bhan worked tirelessly for the betterment of the SC and STs. He had left a mark in the this field and country would always remember him for that, Mr Singh said in a statement said.
