Trains rescheduled

Amritsar-Bilaspur Chattisgarh Express derails Mumbai, Aug 7: Eight trains have been rescheduled and will reach their destination four-five hours late following derailment of the engine and a coach of 8238 Amritsar-Bilaspur Chattisgarh Express in the Nagpur division early today.

The Central Railway spokesperson here said the train derailed between Dharakhoh and Maramjhiri stations on Itarsi-Amla section of Nagpur division at around 0220 hrs today.

However, no casualty was reported, he said.

The train left the site at around 0520 hrs with the assistance of another engine and reached Nagpur at around noon.

The down line traffic is expected to get functional in a couple of hours, he added.
