US wants second UN resolution in days, not weeks

CRAWFORD, Texas, Aug 6 (Reuters) The United States would like a second UN resolution establishing an international force for Lebanon in days, not weeks, US National Security Adviser Stephen Hadley said today.

Hadley could not predict how quickly the force would be able to deploy once authorized, but said: ''Obviously as soon after that as the force can move, the better.'' REUTERS LL RK2058
