Two arrested for possessing gold worth Rs 14,00,000

Hyderabad, Aug 5 (UNI) Police today arrested two persons for possessing gold jewellery weighing about 1.441 kg and cash Rs 1,09,650 with out any proper documents.

Police said the arrest was made, when they conducted a raid at a hotel in the city.

The duo Suresh Jain (32) and Nikesh Jain (25) hailing from Mumbai was staying in the hotel for the last five days.

The two failed to provide any authentic information when questioned.

The items were seized, police added.
