People supreme, says Modi

Ahmedabad, Aug 6 (UNI) Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi urged his party MLAs to strive relentlesly in order to vindicate the faith reposed by the people on the party.

He was speaking at a meeting yesterday during the training session of the state's north zone MLAs at Unjha in Mehsana district.

MLAs from Ahmedabad, Mehsana, Kheda, Sabarkantha, Patan and some local panchayat leaders were also present at the venue.

''The people's representatives should learn to have a wider world view of the people's affairs and a true representative is one who works without being arrogant of his post or prestige,'' he said.
