MP Speaker to give verdict on MLA's disqualification

Bhopal, Aug 6 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Assembly Speaker Ishwardas Rohani will give his verdict on a petition demanding disqualification of Rashtriya Samanta Dal MLA Harivallabh Shukla, who had unsuccessfully contested Lok Sabha election on the BJP ticket from Guna seat in 2004, on August 11, Vidhan Sabha sources said today.

The issued had triggered a storm in the State Assembly forcing the Speaker to adjourn the House sine die two days before schedule.

Congress legislator Ramniwas Rawat had sought disqualification of Mr Shukla under the anti-defection law.
