Maoist, constable killed in encounter

Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, Aug 6 (UNI) One constable of the Andhra Pradesh Special Police (APSP) and a Maoist were killed an encounter between the police and naxalites here.

According to police, the encounter occurred when an APSP party combing Ahobilam area came across a Maoist team.

The body of the slain naxalite was yet to be identified, police said.
