Huge cache of narcotics seized

Jamshedpur, Aug 6 (UNI) In a major breakthrough, the East Singhbhum district police seized about 1.3 kg of heroin worth Rs 1.5 crore in the international market and arrested one person from Sakchi area.

Acting on a tip-off, the police seized three packets, which contained heroin, from a autorickshaw yesterday.

During interrogation, police identified the drug peddler as Pradip Kumar, a resident of Chatra.
