Dungarpur MLA Nathuram Ahari died
Jaipur, Aug 6 (UNI) Dungarpur MLA Nathuram Ahari died at the SMS hospital this morning after a brief illness.
He was 68.
The six time MLA had represented the predominantly tribal dominated Dungarpur constituency uninterrupted since 1980.
Former Rajasthan Chief Minister and AICC general secretary Ashok Gehlot had expressed heartfelt condolences at the demise of Ahari.
He said Ahari was a true social activist who worked hard for the uplift of the tribals in the Vagad region in southern Rajasthan.
Rajasthan Pradesh Congress President B D Kalla, AICC general secretary in charge of Rajasthan Mukul Wasnik and Opposition leader in the Assembly Ram Narayan Chaudhary were among those who expressed deep condolences on the death of the Congress leader.
