Three arrested for poaching peacocks

Mandsaur, MP, Aug 5 (UNI) Three people were arrested on the charge of poaching peacocks at Borwani village in this district, police said.

Two deceased peacocks and a countrymade gun were seized from the accused -- Gulam Mustafa, Abdul Wahid and Mohammed, police said yesterday.

The accused reached outside the village on August 2 for hunting peacocks. On hearing gunshots, villagers caught the accused and handed them over to police.
