Patel criticises Chouhan' statement regarding hunger death
Gwalior, Aug 5 (UNI) Bharatiya Jan Shakti (BJS) General Secretary Prahlad Patel today criticised Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan's statement regarding hunger death in Chhatarpur district before the report of the magisterial inquiry into the matter came.
''The Chief Minister's statement will affect the inquiry,'' Mr Patel told reporters here today.
Alleging that a girl died due to hunger in Chhatarpur recently, he said the death despite various government schemes, corruption in government claims stood exposed.
Regarding three policemen sustaining burn injuries while BJS workers where burning the Chief Minister in effigy in Chhatarpur, he described the incident as an accident.
A case was registered against two BJS workers for attempt to murder in this regard.
Mr Patel warned that the party would take strict steps if any action was initiated against these workers.
