Jharkhand govt considering ban on cold drinks
Ranchi, Aug 5 (UNI) The Jharkhand government is considering ban on cold drinks in the state after the Centre for Science and Environment has detected high level of pesticides in Cola, Pepsi and other soft drinks in the country.
Chief Minister Arjun Munda told this to media persons at the airport in Giridih distrit. He was on his way to attend the state BJP's two-day working committee meeting that began today.
Mr Munda said the state government was seriously contemplating a ban on these cold drinks as consumption of such soft drinks was harmful.
