Heroin estimated at Rs 3 crore seized, 3 arreted

Pilibhit, Aug 5 (UNI) Narcotic Bureau sleuths here today arrested three drug smugglers and seized 3 kg heroin from their possession estimated at Rs 3 crore in the international market.

Official sources said on a tip-off, the team raided a hotel and seized the contraband in the posssession of the three accused.

A vehicle -- owned by one of them -- was also confiscated, that displayed the nameplate of a district panchayat member.

Investigations were on.
