AIMA Fellowship for ONGC Director Balyan

New Delhi, Aug 5 (UNI) Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Director (Human Resources) Ashok Kumar Balyan was today conferred the All India Management Association (AIMA) Fellowship for his significant contribution to the management in the oil and gas sector in the country.

AIMA President Sudhir Jalan presented the certificate of Fellowship to Dr Balyan at the association's 11th convocation ceremony here.

AIMA confers its fellowships on outstanding management professionals who have made a mark in the industry.

An M.Tech from IIT and PhD from Germany, Dr Balyan has served over three decades so far with ONGC. He had headed the company's ventures in coal bed methane in eastern India.

He is also Director in-charge of Business Development and Infocom of ONGC. He is also on the board of Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd and ONGC Videsh Ltd.

Information and Broadcasting Minister Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi was the chief guest at the convocation ceremony.
