Suspected naxals arrested

Nawada, Aug 04 (UNI) Police today arrested three persons suspected to be cadres of proscribed naxalite outfit CPI(Maoist) from various places here.

Police raided the hideouts of the 'criminals' at Shekhodeora and Garura villages under Kauakol and Roh police stations respectively and recovered a number of firearms, including a SLR rifle, a countrymade rifle and a regular rifle, besides several rounds of live cartridges, sources disclosed.

Mohammad Shahabuddin and Umesh Pundit were arrested from Shekhodeora village while Rajendra Yadav was arrested from Gurura village, sources added.
