RGNB launched

Mumbai, Aug 4 (UNI) A resident here has launched an organisation ''Rahul Gandhi National Brigade (RGNB) aimed at the welfare of the poor and downtrodden people in the State.

Mr Tulsidas Nair, who has floated the organisation, met Mr Rahul Gandhi in Delhi on July 20 and apprised him of the activities of the organisation, according to a press release here.

The press release claimed that the organisation has, since its launch on April 5 this year, distributed cycle rickshaws among the handicapped, distributed sewing machines to widows and provided notebooks to needy students and also arranged for free tuitions for them. The brigade also carries out cleanliness drives in slums, the release claimed.
