Inspector caught accepting bribe

Hajipur, Aug 4 (UNI) The vigilance Bureau sleuths arrested a motor vehicle inspector(MVI) for accepting bribe from a person in Vaishali district today.

Police said the sleuths of state vigilance bureau led by Deputy Police Superintendent Prakash Nath Mishra raided the residence of Subodh Kumar Jha on a tip-off and caught him red handed accepting bribe of over Rs 4000 from a person who had approached him in connection with some work.

The arrested inspector was taken to Patna for further interrogation, police added.
