Pune, Aug 4 (UNI) Abdul Karim Telgi, prime accused in the inter-state multi-crore fake stamp paper scam, through his lawyer today alleged that all the three CDs containing taped conversations between himself and others have been tampered by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), which is probing the scam.

Advocate Milind Pawar, representing Telgi, circulated the copies of Telgi's reaction to mediapersons here.

''In 2002, Additional Director General of Police (Addl DGP) Sri Kumar had shown him the CDs and today's CDs were not the same. They were tampered with,'' he alleged. Telgi later handed the sealed CDs to his lawyers.

Telgi and 61 other accused were handed the three of the 14 CDs by the investigating agency containing taped conversations between himself and others in the scam by the orders of the Bombay High Court.
