Army ready to help UP in need: Central Command

Lucknow, Aug 4 (UNI) Commander-in-Chief, Central Command, Lt General O P Nandara Jog today said the military was ready and alert for helping the people of Uttar Pradesh, if needed.

Lt General Nandara Jog (AVSM, VSM) had called upon Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav here. It was a courtesy call.

Appreciating the work of the military, the CM assured the Lt General that all possible cooperation would be provided to the army.

On the occasion, Principal Secretary to CM Anil Kumar and Principal Secretary Home S K Agarwal were present, besides senior army officials.
