Air hostess, boyfriend found dead

Chennai, Aug 4 (UNI) An airhostess and her boyfriend allegedly committed suicide in their apartment at Tiruvanmiyur in the city last evening, police said today.

Police said Shilpa (24) and her friend Jayanth committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling.

While Jayanth was found hanging, Shilpa's body, with the rope around her neck, was lying on the bed.

Acting on a complaint from her family members that there was no response from Shilpa for the last three days and her apartment was locked, police broke open the doors and found the corpses.

The bodies were sent to the Government Royapettah Hospital for post-mortem.
