2 convicted for opium smuggling
Mandsaur(MP), Aug 4 (UNI) Special Judge Abhay Kumar has sentenced 10 years rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs one lakh each to two persons for smuggling opium, while acquitting another for want of evidence.
According to prosecution, Harish Chandra Singh and Gopaldas were convicted and Prem Singh acquitted yesterday. Narcotics officials seized 7 Kg opium when the accused were moving on a motorcycle in Bhaisana area in December last year.
