Verma hints at midterm poll
Ratlam, MP, Aug 3 (UNI) BJP Vice-President and former Delhi chief minister Sahib Singh Verma has claimed the UPA government at the Centre will collapse within a year on account of internal contradictions.
''If the government does not fall, the Congress will grow weaker each day. The BJP will doubtless contest the next general election under the leadership of ex-premier Atal Bihari Vajpayee and ex-deputy prime minister L K Advani,'' he told mediapersons here.
Claiming that the BJP never abandoned the Ram temple issue, Mr Verma added that the issue of the NDA and BJP were distinct.
''The Ram temple issue finds mention in the BJP manifesto,'' he pointed out.
