Two SIMI activists arrested
Mumbai, Aug 3 (UNI) Two activists of the Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) were caught by the Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) from Padga village in the neighbouring Thane district for their alleged role in 'unlawful' activities.
The ATS sources said Saif Nachan and Meenadh Nachan were nabbed yesterday from Padga village for being active members of the banned outfit and spreading its activities in the village.
They have also seized several incriminating documents from them including 'jehadi' literature, which was meant for distribution among the youths of their community, sources said and added the duo would be produced in Mazgaon court later in the day.
