Police seize Maoist dump

Srikakulam, Aug 3 (UNI) A police party on combing operation at Mandasa Rukki Forest area today seized a Maoist dump.

According to Police, the dump contained 49 electrical detonators, 42 gellatin sticks, three bundles of electrical wire, five steel carriages fitted with electric wiring and 250 bolts and nuts.

The police suspect that the dump belonged to Andhra-Orissa Border Srikakulam Division Committee.

The explosives were brought to target the combing police parties in the forest area, the police added.
