Eicher Motors posts 23% growth in July 06

New Delhi, Aug 3 (UNI) Eicher Motors today reported a growth of 23 per cent in its sales at 2160 vehicles during July 2006.

This included sale of 165 units in overseas markets.

''Terra 16, a 16 T GVW Tipper introduced recently in select markets has been received very well. The growth in the 11.10 segment has been significant and is in line with the upward market shifts in this MCV segment,'' Eicher Motors Chief Executive (Commercial Vehicle Division) A Ramasubramanian said.

He added that the growth was spread across regions.
