Billiards, snooker tourney from Aug 5

Hyderabad, Aug 3 (UNI) The 29th Fateh Maidan Open Billiards and Snooker Tournament would be held here from August five.

In a statement, organising committee chairman T Shesh Narayan said a record number of 147 entries--106 in Snooker and 41 in Billiards-- were registered.

Top players from Railways and Andhra Pradesh will be vying for honours in the tournament.

He said prize money would also be given for the winner, runnerup, semi-finalists and quarter finalists.
