Urs festivities conclude at Ajmer

Ajmer, Aug 2 (UNI) The 794th annual Urs festivities at Sufi saint Moinuddin Chisti mazaar ended here today.

On the sixth day of the Urs, the descendants of Khwaja Saheb, Diwan Sajjadanashil Jenuil Abedin Ali conducted the last rituals at the mazaar. With the conclusion of the festivities, the Janaati Darwaza opened for the occasion was closed.

Around three lakh ziyarins had arrived here last night to participate in the last rituals of Urs. The devotees started pouring rose water and kewra on the mazaar sharif from yesterday night.

Urs festivities, which conveys the message of communal harmony, brotherhood and peace, began on July 27 this year.
