Two dozen LeT terrorists infiltrate through Poonch
Jammu, Aug 2 (UNI) Two dozen terrorists of Lashkar-e-Toiba have infiltrated into Indian territory via border district of Poonch, highly placed sources told UNI here this evening.
The terrorists, well equipped with sophisticated weapons, entered the Indian territory last sunday. They kidnapped a local boy for guidence. The boy, Mohammad Sharief, escaped from their custody last night and reported the incident to the police at Dhunigram village.
The security forces and Jammu and Kashmir police have started a special search operation to nab the infiltrators in the general area on Solian Marhote in Poonch border.
One terrorist named Abu Waqas was killed in the encounter with security forces on Monday.
Sources added that the infiltrators came to India to help their associates who have already been killed by security forces.
One dozen militants were expected to move to Kashmir valley via mountain terrains, rest of them were to be active in the Poonch and Rajouri districts.
