Skoda Auto registers 98.2 per cent growth

Kolkata, Aug 2 (UNI) Skoda Auto India, the fully owned subsidiary of Skoda Auto a.s. Czech Republic (Volkswagon Group), today reported 98.2 per cent growth in sales in July compared to the corresponding period last year.

The company recorded sales of 999 units in July as against 504 units in July last year, the company said.

The premium automobile manufacturer of Europe said the sales figure included 44 units of the flagship model "Skoda Superb".
