Security forces arrest two militants in Srinagar

Srinagar, Aug 2: A 'naka' party of the security forces arrested two militants and arms and ammunition at Bemina, on the outskirts of the city last night.

A CRPF spokesman said a naka party during a routine search noticed a group of people moving under suspicious circumstances at Gousia colony, Bemina. When challenged and asked to stop they tried to escape.

However, they were overpowered and later Umar Nazir Hazari and Muzaffar Amin Darzi were arrested. One pistol, one magazine, four rounds and one hand grenade were recovered from them.
