Persons held with revolver at railway station in Asom

Guwahati, Aug 2 (UNI) Two persons were arrested from a railway station in Asom today with arms and ammunition.

Police sources informed that the persons were arrested in a joint operation of the Army and Intelligence personnel at about 1200 hours from near the Rangia station.

A 9 mm revolver and three rounds of ammunition were recovered from them.

The arrested have been identified as Ajay Das of Udalguri and Pabitra Basumatary of Rangia.
